"Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life"

This quote reminds me SO much of our new Teacher of The Week. Her passion is so genuine and it's one of the many reasons she was nominated and chosen to be our new 97ZOK Teacher of The Week.

Big congratulations to Julie Hindenburg from West Middle School in Rockford! She was nominated by Jenna Bankhead and the letter reads -

I’m nominating Julie Hindenburg for teacher of the week for numerous reasons. I’ve never meant someone so deserving of this award. Julie spends countless hours inside and outside of the classroom teaching not only her students but her children. For years Julie has strived to provide the best educational experience possible for her children and students. She is well known for her generosity and kindness while inside and outside of the classroom. She embraces every opportunity she possibly can to teach. She truly has a passion for what she does and she cares deeply for her students, families and children. Her teaching methods are nothing short of extraordinary and she keeps the class engaged with both traditional and non-traditional teaching methods such as incorporating curriculum into fun games, raps, songs etc. Julie truly deserves to become teacher of the week.

After making a call to congratulate Julie and getting to drop off her cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and bouquet from Broadway Florist, we could instantly feel the passion Jenna wrote about in her letter. And look how happy her class was when she told them!
