I'm just going to say it: Rockford Public School kids have it so good these days.

After I graduated, everything started to evolve.  First, they all got Chromebooks instead of having to write everything in notebooks, every classroom has a SmartBoard instead of a projector, and now a Grab & Go Market?!

RPS 205 just opened a brand-new Grab & Go Market at the Quad, and honestly, it looks so cool.  Students can swing by and pick up their free breakfast and lunch for the day, plus grab a few extras like snacks or drinks from the a la carter cooler and chip shelf.  It's fast, fresh, and convenient.

Back in my day (acting like I'm a hundred years old lol), we had one or two food options to pick from every day.  Now, kids can literally grab full meals, snacks, and extras to save for later.  It's perfect for busy students juggling classes, sports, and clubs.

As much as I envy kids these days, Rockford has stepped up its game to modernize the inside as much as they can.  It's not all about the coolest gadgets or food options, it's really about giving students options that make school a little easier (and fun!).

Man, if we have a Grab & Go Market when I was in school, I would've been munching on all my snacks during class and got sent to detention.  Probably majority of us would've disrupted class with all our snacking, no lie haha.
