A dog at a Rockford animal shelter got adopted and her "going home" photo is the most precious thing you'll see all week.

Every day is another chance for animals to get adopted.  For Twila, it took 94 days at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary to find her "furever home".

'Most Smiley Dog’ Finds Furever Home After 94 Days at Shelter

Twila has been a resident at Noah's Ark for 94 days until her human momma came to save the day.  Twila won't be an only child at her furever home, she'll have a brother and sister who are also former residents at Noah's Ark, too.  I can feel all the happiness and joy in this photo.... just look at her smiley face.  How adorable!!!

This photo alone racked up over 2,0000 likes and 150+ comments.  As it should!  Twila is such a lucky girl and deserves all the treats in the world.  Congrats girly!

After seeing the joy adoption brings to families, it makes me want to adopt or foster.  I already have two furbabies who live luxuriously and are extremely spoiled, but adding another to the mix wouldn't hurt...

If you're ready to adopt and need recommendations on pawsome rescues and shelters in the area, there are plenty to choose from.  Many are overflowing with residents, too.
