Kind, understanding, respectful, patient, helpful, loving, creative, and a great baker are just many words that describe Mrs. Bianca Sutherland. I have had the privilege of watching Mrs. Sutherland teach 5th grade and see her enthusiasm and how she handles each student on a daily basis. Mrs. Sutherland has a way of getting through to her students that she gets to know each of her kids and it shows how creative she has to be to get through to each student. Mrs. Sutherland teaches 5th grade at St. Rita Catholic Grade School, the Assistant Principal, and Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Boylan. Mrs. Sutherland is a teacher that everyone should have in their lifetime. She takes the time to make sure that all of the students are taken care of in the classroom, the school, and on and off the basketball court.
Mrs. Sutherland also is not just a coworker but she is also my wife. St. Rita is a special place because that is where we first met and eventually got married. Mrs. Bianca Sutherland deserves this award more than any other teacher I know. Thank you for considering her.
