Celebrating a Rockford Teacher Who Helps Every Student Find Their Voice
There are teachers who teach the lesson… and then there are teachers who leave a lasting imprint on a child’s life. The kind who notice the quiet kid, encourage the hesitant one, and make school feel like a place where you belong. This week’s Teacher of the Week is exactly that kind of educator; someone whose passion, patience, and heart show up every single day for her students, often in ways they’ll carry with them long after they leave the classroom.

Gina Brown nominated Margaret, she writes,
Mrs. Brandon is the music teacher at Brookview and she is such a special and unique teacher! She is so great with all students and willing to go above and beyond. All the kids love her. She worked really hard to get my daughter to come out of her shell and has been amazing with my son Kylan!
All these kids will remember her and take so much from her and they learn to appreciate music class! The work she puts into the music programs each year is just amazing! She is also on the PTO! She makes the start of each day amazing for the students!
