How would it feel if the next time you went to the 'friendly confines' for a Chicago Cubs game the ivy was all gone? It's not satisfying like seeing it be removed.

I hate ivy.

I love the way ivy-covered structures look.

But I hate ivy.

That beautiful creeping vine was all over a home I used to own and it drove me insane trying to manage its exceptionally quick growth. For me, it required very frequent attention and maintenance throughout the entire growing season.

The Chicago Cubs have an entire grounds crew to manage all that ivy in the outfield because it's too much for one person. Trust me when I tell you, if the ivy was ignored completely, it wouldn't take too many years for it to completely cover Wrigley Field.

If you've never dealt with trying to preserve the beauty of ivy growing on the side of your home, you should know it's not as simple as just ripping it down as needed. The type of ivy I had on my home had dozens upon dozens of things that looked like little tiny reptile feet attaching each vine to the walls. If you're not careful, those little feet will break off and stay attached to the wall. and it's a real pain scraping them off.

I'll bet this guy wouldn't mind if all that ivy was ripped out of Wrigley Field

If you just said "yes" twice, like me, you're going to love this video, but for some very different reasons. Lol.

I don't own that old home anymore but I always fantasized about shouting obscenities at all that ivy like I was Samuel L. Jackson and doing this.

I'd want to be at Wrigley Field the day they peel off all that ivy in one piece

Watch these two short and VERY SATISFYING videos.

Part 1

Part 2

These videos helped me work out some old aggression. But I still hate ivy. How bad do want a piece of skin to peel right now?

Here are 20 minutes of it in 4K.
