A Pint for a Pint: Upcoming Rockford Blood Drive

Donating blood is a great thing one can do to help out someone they most likely will never meet.

One hour of your time can save the lives of up to 3 different people.

LaMonica Beverages is teaming up with the Rock River Valley Blood Center for their first-ever blood drive Wednesday, August 1st.

The drive, A Pint for a Pint, will be held at LaMonica Beverages in the parking lot at 4060 Rock Valley Pkwy in Loves Park from 1pm to 5pm.

Anyone that donates will receive a Budweiser pint glass (beer is NOT included), along with a couple of other novelty items courtesy of LaMonica beverages.

This blood drive is open to the public, but they are encouraging those interested in donating to make an appointment.
