Food Trucks You Must Check Out in Rockford, According to Locals
One of my favorite things about summer in Rockford is that it officially becomes food truck season. The second the weather starts warming up, it feels like food trucks are everywhere!
I love it because there's always something different to try and it prevents me from ordering takeout from a chain restaurant. If you're craving tacos, BBQ, loaded fries, smash burgers, grilled cheeses... the options are always available.
Summer in Rockford just hits different when food trucks are out!
And when Rockford City Market rolls around on Friday nights, forget ordering takeout. There are way too man good options all in one place. I always walk down there thinking I know exactly what I want, and then suddenly I'm distracted by a new food truck I've never tried before. That's why I'm making this list of food trucks in the Stateline; you might see one that you've never tried, but sounds tasty!
