Granite City At Cherry Vale Mall Just Peaced Out Of Rockford

A few months ago we reported on some issues with Granite City locations in the midwest.

So we wondered in November 2019 how much longer Granite City, 7144 Harrison Avenue, would remain in business.

Turns out, the answer was 4 months.

Granite City filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in December 2019.

Recently, news reports say the troubled restaurant reached a tentative agreement to sell the remaining properties to the owner of Famous Dave's BBQ.
