It sounds too good to be true.

But it is true. This is probably the best news you'll get all day, especially if you're trying to lose weight and get in shape like me. Yeah, I'm into fitness, fitness whole chocolate cake in my mouth. Giving up sweets and anything with sugar is probably the hardest part about losing weight; that and carbs.

Now you don't have to. Scientists now say that eating chocolate cake as part of a complete breakfast can help you shed those unwanted pounds. Don't even question how or why it works, just start digging in.

Really, though, it makes sense. Health experts point out that the morning is the best time to consume sweets because that's when our metabolism is the most active and you have the entire day to work it off. Plus, eating cookies or chocolate as part of a breakfast that includes proteins and carbs will help fight off those cravings for sweets from the vending machine later in the day.

Something to keep in mind: in order for this to be successful, you have to adopt a healthy lifestyle and stick to a realistic diet the rest of the day.  Totally worth it, right?
