The City of Rockford announced a new drive thru testing site that has the capacity to test at least 500 people a day.

Cities around the state are working very hard to open testing sites that can test hundreds of people a day. It's beginning to appear as if testing is becoming less of a barrier to beating COVID-19. With new high-volume testing sites opening, we will see a big spike in the numbers.

In conjunction with the Illinois National Guard, Rockford's new high-volume drive thru testing site is located at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Health Science Campus at 1601 Parkview Ave.

The Illinois Department of Public Health has provided a map of other testing sites around the state. With each location, contact information is also provided. The list will be updated as information is provided to them.
