Problem with Dirty Election Signs In Wisconsin
In Wisconsin, there's a problem with dirty election signs.
Even if you wanted to forget there's an election, it would be almost impossible unless you went into seclusion. As I drive through Rockford, there are political signs everywhere. Some yards have so many, it's overwhelming.
I thought it would be great to come up with something funny and non-political to put on sign to post over town. Something like "None Of The Above," like in the movie "Brewster's Million." Of course, it would be way too pricey to pull off.
Some people in Wisconsin decided it was worth the effort. The only problem, they are dirty and not the kind of thing you wanted posted around town for everyone to see.
According to jsonline.com,
"Political signs in Waukesha County have shown how the 2020 election season has become ‘R-rated.' In the weeks leading up to the Nov. 3 presidential election, the signs themselves and people's reactions to them has become even more extreme, punctuated in late September by a sign using a sexually derogatory term aimed at Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
One witness said...
"When I got home, I thought how these signs are really inappropriate," Perry said, adding that he was glad his daughter wasn't along for the ride, as she sometimes is on trips to North Prairie to golf at the Broadlands Golf Club. "If I came past, here again, I don't want her seeing that."
As crazy as this election and 2020 has become, I'm not surprised at all.
