Stroll on State in Rockford, Illinois returns on November 30th and you cannot miss what's going down this year!
Can't believe 2024 is almost over. Feels like it just started! The fact that Stroll on State is almost here makes me wonder where the entire year went. Wow.
I'll be honest, I'm in the parade again and couldn't be more excited.
Rockford Is Home To The Midwest's Biggest & Best Holiday Festivals
Every year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, aka Small Business Saturday, Stroll on State kicks off the Holiday season with tons of festivities, live music, local vendors, and cool attractions throughout the festival.
What to expect at Stroll on State for 2024
This is a great place to start family traditions. There's a tree lighting, parade, fireworks, and even Santa will be there to spread holiday cheer!
If you're part of the running community, there's a Dasher Dash 5k at noon. Get all the information for that here. They'll have a costume contest for participants and a post-race party to celebrate with hot chocolate and s'mores.
- Parade kicks off at 2pm
