Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Burnett from All Saints Catholic Academy

Congrats to 97ZOK's new Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Burnett from All Saints Catholic Academy.

Burnett was nominated by one of her students, Henry Nielsen. He said:

Hello, my name is Henry Nielsen and I am in 5th grade at All Saints Catholic Academy.  I think my teacher, Mrs. Burnett should be Teacher of the Week.  Mrs.  Burnett is very, very nice.  When we need more time to finish our work, she doesn’t get mad at us, she will try to help us through it.  She comes up with games to help us understand our work, like doing spelling games.
My favorite thing about Mrs. Burnett’s class is our morning meetings.  In morning meetings we tell jokes and have share time to learn about each other’s lives.  Then we will play fun games to help us connect with each other.  I think it’s good to have morning meetings because we start our day off right and have a good attitude.  I could write a nine-page essay about all the things that make Mrs. Burnett so great.  She makes us all feel like we’re at home and comfortable like we won’t get laughed at for being yourself.  I’m glad I have Mrs. Burnett this year.

Burnett won flowers from Broadway Florist, a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and a gift certificate from Oriental Trading Company.
