Rockford Teacher Honored for 2 Hallmark Principles of His Classroom
97ZOK's new Teacher of the Week challenges his students in ways that promote "exactly what kids in today’s world need."
It's such a pleasure to honor teachers in the Rockford region every week during the school year, and with it, comes the joy I get from reading so many stories about the ABOVE and BEYOND that is going on in so many classrooms.
97ZOK Teacher of the Week
Congratulations to Robb Miller from Froberg Elementary School in Rockford, Illinois.
Ashley Smith nominated Robb, she writes about the 2 hallmark principles of his classroom,
Mr. Miller goes above and beyond in challenging his students to always strive for their best. He has expectations that promote responsibility and hard work which is exactly what kids in today’s world need.
My daughter is always coming home telling me something very meaningful that Mr. Miller shared with the class. I already know that my daughter is always going to remember this year.
The experiences from being in Mr. Miller’s class are going to guide her to be successful in the future! I want to thank Mr. Miller for his hard work and dedication in being an extraordinary educator!
