Why Tonight is the Best Night for Fun in Downtown Rockford

If you've never gone out to have fun in Rockford's Downtown River District, tonight is the BEST night to be there. If you're headed to Rockford's City Market this Friday (7/1) you better be ready for more fun, food and music. Two other special events are also happening downtown tonight.

Expanded hours and more live music for Friday, July 1st's 'Rock The Market' event. According to mystateline.com, 'Rock The Market' will be expanded to 3:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. and instead of just one musical act, there will be tow under the pavilion. Andrew Robinson from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. and Pistol Pete from 7:00 - 10 p.m..

Downtown Rockford will be filled with fun all night for the entire family, no matter where you go. 'First Fridays' is also happening where many shops and restaurants will be hosting special events.
