Biggest Reasons Rockford Drivers Are the Worst in Illinois

Rockford drivers are some of the worst speed limit ignoring, red light running, no turn signal using, roundabout strugglers I've ever witnessed.

Rockford drivers are the WORST DRIVERS in Illinois. You can not challenge me on that one, it's a fact.

Look at this fine display of driving a Rockford tavern caught on its security camera.

Rockford drivers are so horrible, we're the 11th worst in the entire country. Yes, I said 'we' because I've been awful on the Illinois Tollway system. I have a 'left-lane lollygagging' problem that I'm working on.

Left-lane lollygaggers are a pain in the ass, but what's going on around the city of Rockford is just ridiculous. I'm not a road rage type of guy but I've just about had it with some of the bullshit I see on Rockford roads.

For everyone who wants to explode on another driver but is mature enough not to lose it in public, what annoying driving offenses do you think make Rockford drivers the worst in Illinois?

"Failing to yield at roundabouts."

That roundabout sure did expose the shortcomings of many Rockford drivers, and that's putting it nicely. I've been hit twice while driving through the Auburn/Main roundabout by drivers who weren't paying attention.

"No one stops. And they all drive like my car is invisible. People turn in front of you when you’re going full speed to cause a potential accident. No one seems to care for anyone’s safety at all anymore. It’s terrifying to drive lately!"

Don't beep your horn behind me if I'm the lead car at a red light when it turns green and I don't immediately pull away. I'm not on my phone, I'm trying not to get killed by the driver who may run that red light and hit me.

"Looking at their phones and not paying attention while driving! People thinking they're the only person on the road, and what I mean is that they are driving in and out of traffic to get where they need to be as fast as they can get there. not thinking if someone hits their brakes you could ram into a car and hurt someone, or worse yet, a child!
I hate driving in this town!! The past couple years it's like common sense is just gone! I Truly hate it when I have my kids with me. Watching my surroundings more than I should have to because THEY aren't paying attention!"

Am I the only one who is entertained by the driver who drove past me on Spring Creek at a high rate of speed, only to catch the same red light as me? When I roll up and see that driver, I laugh out loud in my car.
