Wanna learn how to play basketball? Ask Michael Jordan. Wanna learn how to manage money? Ask Donald Trump. Wanna learn how to live til you're really old? Ask a 108-year-old.

Mental Floss put together a list of 8 ways to live a really long life, according to the oldest people ever, and I think it's a pretty good list to take a look at. Sure we know we should get a vegetable in every once in a while and wear our seat belt, but what else should we do?

  1. "Drink A Mysterious Elixir" This is such a cool story! A 108-year-old man claims he was in India before World War I and  man told him to drink this mysterious elixir and he would live to be 100. He died when he was 110.
  2. "Make Olive Oil Your Everything" Rachael Ray always says if you want to have a shiny coat, you have to use olive oil. 122-year-old, Jeanne Calment, used to be olive oil in everything including milk and rubbed it on her skin. Sounds easy enough to me.
  3. "Butt Out" A 116-year-old woman says the secret is to get out of other people's business. This does NOT sound easy to me.
  4. "Eat Bacon" Susannah "Miss Susie" Mushatt is 115 and the oldest living person in New York right now, she starts each day with 4 strips of bacon. Yum.
  5. "Booze It Up" The oldest living person in Europe drinks a glass of homemade Brady every day. And you know, homemade stuff is always stronger.
  6. "Drink Boiled Water and Smoke Cigars" I've never heard of this drinking boiled water thing, does it make it cleaner? That's try-able. I'm not gonna pick up cigar smoking though, despite what this 115-year-old said.
  7. "Eat Until You're 80 Percent Full" This guy was 116 when he died, mentioning moderation as the key to a long life, and eating until you're 80 percent full. Which is hard. Can someone give me a fullness measuring device?
  8. "Eat Bee Pollen and Honey" Fred Hale Sr. was 113 when he died, he was the Guinness record holder for the oldest driver. He was running on bee pollen and honey, every single day!
