There's a stack of romance novels sitting on the nightstand next to me that I have yet to finish, but I still have the urge to keep buying more books.  I know I'm not alone!

As of late, I've been very fixated on reading books.  It seemed like a brilliant solution to disconnecting my brain, and eyes, from looking at a computer screen all day and night.  Let's just say, it's definitely working.

I forgot just how good reading is for the soul.  In grade school, it's kind of forced upon you to read, read, read and it made me not want to read.  As an adult, I finally have the freedom and choice to dive into a sappy, romance novel whenever I feel like it, and I totally feel like it!  Like, every day after work!

Since Half Price Books closed in Rockford a few years back, I've been looking for other second-hand bookstores around town to support.
