Congratulations to Hunter McClusky from Cherry Valley Elementary in Cherry Valley, IL

Hunter was nominated by his wife, Mallorie, she writes,

I am nominating my husband for teacher of the week for the outstanding work he does as an educator each and every day. He is a PE teacher, and truly puts his all into teaching his students each and every day. He works tiredlessly planning new activities and games for the students that motivate them to move while still having fun. He puts so much time into ensuring that each student will enjoy the activity and plans out each accommodation needed for students who need a little extra help. He is present inside and outside of school, always making an effort to show up to support his schools events and his students' athletics. He even refs time to time for the games! He truly is a superhero and I am so proud of him. I love seeing the way his students light up when they see him in public and the way their parents tell him how impactful he has been in their child's life. He truly shows up everyday ready to be an outstanding teacher and role model for these kids. There is truly no one I am more proud of! My daughter and I admire him so much and love watching him live out his dreams. I think he is so deserving of being teacher of the week, and I know so many others would agree! He is patient, kind, compassionate, energetic, dedicated, and so much more! He is the best teacher ever in my eyes and deserves the world.

Listen to our chat with Hunter below; his journey is inspiring, and the 'Superhero' title absolutely fits.
