Old School Arcade Games
As a child of the 1980s, I could never count the hours I spent playing video games. It was a different era, so these weren't hours spent in my room by myself. No, my gaming hours were spent at the greatest place to ever fill space at a shopping mall, Aladdin's Castle Arcade.

A pocket full of quarters could easily translate into more than a few hours of entertainment in the same space with dozens of other video game lovers. Space Invaders, Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey King, Tempest, Joust, and Asteroids, are my all-time favorite games. Playing some sort of equivalent on an Xbox or PlayStation just isn't the same.

If it wasn't for this recent sorry from tmj4.com I would not have known James Srnec's story.
James wasn't an immediate fan of the games that hold a special place in my heart, in fact, as the TMJ story points out, James spent more time playing Halo than Pac-Man. That changed when James bought his first big vintage cabinet video game. Things quickly changed and James kept accumulating more games. That passion is now why we have Vintage Vault Arcade at 715 Main Street, Suite 200 in Mukwonago, WI
